IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON DIMAPUR

The globalization is process of interaction and integration among people, companies and governments worldwide. The process by which world, previously isolated through distance and physical, becomes increasingly interconnected. It occurred by the increase in interaction between peoples around the world that involves the sharing of ideas, cultures, goods, service and investment. A globalized world is one in which political, economic, cultural, and social events becomes interconnected in every distance.

As such, Dimapur being the largest city and municipality in the Indian state of Nagaland, impacted adversely by the process of globalization and with the establishment of Railway Station in 1990s and airport built during the World War II, many new development, companies and advanced technology started to flow in continuously. Trough this globalization the culture, ideas, education and advanced technology from every cornor of the world are prevalent and vague in Dimapur district of Nagaland.

However, some notable and concrete example are evident by the prevailing sub-companies of gadget technologies like  Acer laptop from Taiwan, Samsung phone from Japan, Toyota car from Japan, I-phone from U.S.A and various others medial equipment, food and fast food like KFC & sea food are very much common among the citizen of Dimapur in this contemporary arena. To conclude, it quite crucial to encourage and support more on globalization and promote import and export of every goods and service including raw materials and finest product in every part of the world.
