Zeliang Folk tale of a man, tiger and a cat

Once upon a time there was a man name "Rangam" and a Tiger they both were a good friend. But after few years the tiger started to hunt the villagers, their domestic animals for his food, Rangam told him not to do but he continue. So, to get rid of the tiger, Rangam came up with a plan. 

One day he went to the forest where the tiger lives and was collecting a long cane rope. the tiger came by and asked him, my friend what are you doing. He replied a strong wind is coming and this world is coming to an end so I am collecting the rope to tie myself  so that the wind wont carry me away.

I am coming with you said the Tiger, Ok then after collecting the rope they decided to tie taking in turn. Rangam asked the tiger to tie him up first, but he replied since you are a man you can tie yourself later, so tie me up first. Now Rangam told the tiger to punch the big tree with all his might and it was moving, so they choose the bigger and the stronger tree.

Then, Rangam stared tying up the tiger from his feet, each rope he add it becomes more titer and titer, the tiger became furious and asked him (are you trying to suffocate me?), he replied the wind will be so strong so we have to tie up with our full strength so that it wont get loose in due time. Finally he used up all the ropes which was sufficient for both, tying the tiger just leaving his head.

Rangam said "my friend I have to go back to the place where we collected the rope since we are out of it". Ok come back soon said the tiger. 

Its been more then a week since He didn't return, The tiger was hungry, exhausted and thirsty, then the Deer came passing by, Untie me my friend deer replied all the plant will be dead by tomorrow so I don't have time I have to collect for my family. Lots of other animal came by but none help him as they knew what he will do when they untie him.

Finally a cat came by and the tiger asked for a help, Ok my friend i will come back in a minute, so the cat went inside a rabbit hole and kept his food and returned to untie the tiger. Ever one rope he remove the tiger tends to roar having and intention to catch the cat. Cat asked him are you trying to eat me? No my friend i am reacting that way because the rope was too tight. As the last rope was removed the tiger started chasing him, he ran into the rabbit hole.

Few moment later the cat started eating his food (chicken leg), The tiger asked what are you eating, I am a man so i bite off my leg and chewing it. The tiger tried but failed to as he feel the pain. The cat told him to bite off with his full strength with his eyes closed immediately so that he wont feel pain. The tiger did so and bite off his leg and died after some time. The cat came out and dance around the tiger dead body sing "you want to eat my head or my bum", the cat fell down and crack his head by the tooth of the tiger and died as well.
